Marilyne Faye, a longtime member of the Big Orange Women’s Race team, does not seek attention. She is a no-nonsense cyclist who has quietly ripped the legs off many unsuspecting cyclists in Southern California. At the LAX Circuit Race on May 23 she did just that when she won the Women’s Category 3 State Championship Road Race. She has donned the state champion jersey before, but she says it’s still a thrill.
