Big Orange supports racer and rider development at all levels and has a rich tradition of racing. Our racers compete in Cat 5 through Cat 1 and masters category races throughout the year. Sam Boardman and Krista-Doebel-Hickock raced for Big Orange before turning pro and several of our current members are former pro riders.

OTHER CYCLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS
JAN RUSSELL
Before joining Big Orange, Jan was part of the team that claimed the Abbott prize for human powered vehicles going faster than 55 mph on level ground. Jan and the team held numerous world records and ultimately cracked 60 mph.
EVENS STEIVENART
While he was an active member of Big Orange for a relatively short time, he rode with distinction including a first place finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans bicycle race in the solo category. Evens is one of the top endurance racers in the world.
