I accept the Big Orange Cycling Code of Conduct and Membership Policies as stated on the Big Orange Cycling website (www.BigOrangeCycling.org) and below.
I agree to obey the One Rule, Don’t be a Dick. I will help other riders and give assistance if there is a crash. I will be friendly to other riders, pedestrians, and motorists. I will introduce myself to other riders, especially new riders. I will ride lawfully and safely. I will not knowingly violate the rules of the cycling races and events I participate in.
I will maintain an active membership. This means I will sign a liability waiver and this Affirmation of the Code of Conduct and Membership Policy annually, keep my profile information including contact details current, agree to receive email or text messages from Big Orange Cycling, and accept responsibility for canceling my membership if I no longer wish to be a member of Big Orange Cycling.
Members agree to maintain and promote our relationships with our existing sponsors.
The standard membership is a one-year subscription with automatic annual renewal. Members are expected to provide a valid payment method to maintain their subscription. Members may cancel their membership subscription through the website. Failure to cancel membership is not grounds for a refund. Potential and existing members may contact the Board of Big Orange or the Membership Chair if they require financial assistance or other accommodation.
The Board may review the membership of any existing or potential member at any time. The board may take action for violating the Code of Conduct, including expulsion from Big Orange Cycling. Members expelled from Big Orange Cycling are not eligible for a refund of the remaining term of their membership. Members previously expelled from Big Orange Cycling are not allowed to join again unless they have received prior approval from the Board.
